I missed a few posts, because I am feeling really miserable for the last 3 days! This is Lucy’s blog and I look after her, but these days she is looking after me… I am thinking what is causing my misery and I suspect, it’s my detox reaction. I do everything with Lucy, except I don’t take intravenous Vitamin C and that’s what keeps her stronger. She is feeling quite irritated…everything looks like PMS, but nothing happened yet. Also high doses of Vitamin C can prolonge menstrual cycle. So her pain remains the same every day, she craves solid foods and sweets, but doing so well!!!

Yesterday she had for lunch a small piece of salmon and boiled red skin potatoes and she just felt so satisfied.

She felt also quite emotional yesterday and had a little cry. I took her to Devonport and we had a lovely time there.

Her diet remains the same, most of her nutrition comes from green juices. Today we had a sunflower sushi, Lucy really liked it.

Also Vitamin C 3x a week is continuing.

Well, I must admit, I was misurable today all day. ( I have got e period, but must say, my usually unmanagable PMS pain completely dissapeared – I believe thanks to my high intake of fermented drinks and foods). I went to Takapuna market to buy a fresh produce and than went to church, but Lucy stood home with Adam. We found it difficult to leave Adam somewhere, as he can’t speak and understand English and he starts to cry…( SCREAM!)

I also went to I.E. produce http://www.ieproduce.com/ – this is my absolutely favourite health store. If you never been there, you missed out! Increadible loving, vibrant energy, always fresh and best possible produce and most of all, fresh young coconuts! They are huge – there was 1 l of coconut water in just one coconut and the meat was beautifuly white.

Lucy and Adam went for a walk this afternoon , otherwise we have been mostly home, because I was misurable…Sorry Lucy, I will be fine in 2 days time

She complained about pain again, no period yet. She also had her regullar weekly massage today. She is loving it!!!

I was very happy with my lush tray of pea sprouts and my whole microgreens mini garden. What do you think? This is were Lucy’s main nutrients coming from:

PEA SPROUTS

To make the chips, simply toss your thinly sliced veggies into a marinade of oil, salt/Tamari and your favorite seasonings, spread these on teflex sheets, and dehydrate until crisp. Sooo good!

2 sweet potatoes, peeled
1 tbs olive oil
1 tsp salt
Seasonings of choice

Thinly slice the sweet potatoes with a mandoline or veggie peeler. Prepare a marinade with the rest of the ingredients and toss the potatoes in it.

Spread the slices on a teflex sheet and dehydrate until crisp. You may want to turn them over to help dehydration.

For BBQ Chips: Use Chili, cayenne, cumin, paprika, onion powder and a little honey.

For Cheezy Chips: Use 2 TBS nutritional yeast
